ASTM A213 T2 alloy seamless pipes demonstrate a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa and a
yield strength of 205 MPa. With a required minimum elongation of 30% and a maximum hardness limited to 163 HB,
these alloy pipes find extensive use in industries such as oil & gas, power, fertilizers, heat-exchangers,
paper & pulp, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and water treatment.
The ASTM A213 Gr T2 Tube exhibits a minimum tensile strength of 415MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205MPa,
which are similar to the values of the 304 and 316 stainless steel grades. However, this carbon steel has a
higher hardness and toughness, with a maximum Brinell hardness of 163HB. The ASTM A213 specification ensures
its suitability for pressure vessel applications, while various standards such as ASME, ASTM, and API are
applicable. The Asme Sa213 T2 Tubing is commonly used in boilers, heat exchangers, superheaters, condensers,
and oil and gas line applications.
