Stainless Steel 904L Plates is one of the best Stainless Steel grades for corrosion resistance. This grade is written as 1.4539 or X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5 according to EN norm and it is written as UNS S08904 according to UNS norm. SS 904L Coils are specially designed for use in extreme corrosion conditions, making them ideal for the process industry. Grade 904L stainless steel plates also provide excellent resistance to warm seawater and chloride attacks. With its highly alloyed chemistry of 25% nickel and 4.5% molybdenum, SS 904L provides good chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance, pitting, and general corrosion resistance superior to Stainless Steel 316L and 317L molybdenum enhanced stainless steel.

Stainless Steel 904L Welding:
