Hardened 450 Wear Steel Plate is an abrasion-resistant steel plate boasting a nominal hardness of 450 HBW. It
combines excellent weldability and bendability, with the added option for guaranteed impact toughness, known as
Hardened® 450 Tuf. These Hardened 450 Sheets and Hardened 450 Plate Tuf variants are available in thicknesses
ranging from 3 to 130 mm, with Hardened 450 Plates available in widths up to 3350 mm and lengths up to 14,630
mm. For HB 450 Plate widths ≤ 1600 mm and thicknesses between 3 and 6 mm, the preferred widths are 1500 or 1600
mm. When dealing with Hardened 450 Plate thicknesses exceeding 80 mm, the preferred width is 1650 mm.
Hardened 450 Sheets find application in a wide array of components and structures prone to wear. Boasting an
additional 50 Brinell hardness over our Hardened 400 grade, Hardened 450 Plate offers improved abrasion and dent
