At Amardeep Steel Centre, we provide Nimonic alloy 263, which is a nickel-cobalt-chrome-molybdenum alloy known
for its age-hardening capabilities. This alloy was specifically designed to exhibit excellent fabrication
characteristics in the annealed condition while maintaining strong strength properties after aging. Compared
to materials like Waspaloy or Rene 41, Nimonic 263 is easier to form and weld, and it demonstrates exceptional
ductility at intermediate temperatures.
Our Nimonic 263 is supplied in the annealed condition, offering excellent ductility that makes it suitable for
both cold forming and hot working processes. When it comes to welding Nimonic 263, we recommend using filler
wire with a matching composition in both TIG and MIG forms to ensure optimal results.
To achieve the desired properties and performance of Nimonic 263, we suggest the following heat treatments:

Extra Clean: (XC) Extra clean is also referred to as “bright annealed” or “bright annealed and cold rolled”
Grease (round wire only): Drawn in a heavy grease produces an “Ultra bright” finish for decorative applications
Soap (round wire only): Soap is used as a lubricant in the drawing process and is not removed. It acts as a
lubricant during customer part-forming operation. A soap finish is available in tempered products.
