Amardeep Steel is a leading supplier of high-quality niobium tubes and pipes that offer unique properties ideal for various industrial applications. Known for their excellent corrosion resistance, these tubes perform exceptionally well in harsh environments containing acids and aggressive chemicals. With a high melting point of 2477°C (4491°F), niobium is perfect for high-temperature applications.
Our niobium tubes are flexible and can be easily shaped into various forms. They work well as superconductors at low temperatures and are safe for use in medical implants and devices. Plus, their ability to absorb low thermal neutrons makes them useful in nuclear applications.
With high strength and durability, Amardeep Steel's niobium tubes are designed to withstand demanding environments. Their oxidation resistance is further improved by a protective oxide layer, even at elevated temperatures. These features make our niobium tubes and pipes ideal for use in aerospace, medical, chemical processing, nuclear energy, and superconducting technologies.

Properties of Niobium
- Appearance: Niobium is a shiny, white, and ductile metal. When exposed to air, it forms an oxide layer, which can display shades of blue, green, and yellow depending on its thickness.
- Corrosion Resistance: The oxide film on niobium provides excellent corrosion resistance. However, the metal begins to oxidize rapidly in air at temperatures above 200°C.
- Chemical Similarity: Niobium shares chemical properties that are very similar to those of tantalum.
- Refractory Metal: Niobium is classified as one of the five major refractory metals, known for their high resistance to heat and wear. The other refractory metals include tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and rhenium.
Manufacturing Process of Niobium Tubes
Niobium tubes are produced using electron beam melting technology, which includes both seamless and welded niobium tubes. The process begins by melting non-forged niobium bars into niobium ingots through vacuum electron beam melting technology. There are two smelting methods: single smelting and multiple smelting. Typically, we perform double smelting, although more than two cycles may be required based on specific product needs.
