What Are Inconel 600 Pipes and Tubes?
Inconel 600 (Alloy 600) is a nickel-chromium super-alloy, with excellent resistance to chlorine-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also to carburization. The high nickel content provides outstanding resistance to corrosion by sulfur compounds, and is virtually immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking exposure. The chromium content gives it resistance to sulfur compounds and a wide variety of oxidizing environments and temperatures.
Because of these outstanding properties, Inconel 600 Pipes and Inconel 600 Tubes have been specified for the most demanding environments. The product includes Inconel 600 Seamless Pipes for high-pressure applications and other Inconel 600 Welded Pipes for structural forms of applications.
