Amardeep Steel Centre offers Nimonic 263 Plate, which is a NIMONIC® alloy manufactured by Special
Metals. This alloy is available in various forms, including Nimonic 263 Sheet, Nimonic 263 Coil,
Nimonic 263 Clad Plate, Nimonic 263 Flat Sheet, and Nimonic 263 Rolling Plate. Nimonic alloy 263
(UNS N07263, 2.4650) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy with the addition of
molybdenum for solid-solution strengthening. It is particularly well-suited for sheet applications.
These alloys are highly regarded for their exceptional performance in high-temperature, low-creep
conditions. In welded structures, nimonic 263 exhibits remarkable strength, corrosion resistance,
formability, and high-temperature ductility. It is commonly used in the fabrication of gas turbines,
such as rings, casings, and various sheet components, and it can withstand temperatures of up to
approximately 1650°F (900°C).
Notably, Alloy C263 plate, or Nimonic 263 plate, demonstrates excellent tensile ductility
at intermediate temperatures and is not prone to strain age cracking issues typically found in other
gamma prime strengthened alloys. This unique combination of properties makes Alloy 263 Plate the
preferred choice for a wide range of fabricated components in both aircraft turbine engines and
land-based turbine applications.
Nimonic® C-263 Plate is also known by alternative names such as Nicrofer 5120 CoTi Plate, Haynes 263
Plate, and Hastelloy C-263 Plate.
