The stainless steel grade SMO 254 is an extremely austenitic and high-end stainless steel. This steel is made of a blend of crash toughness resistance to the chloride stress rust cracking, and crevice corrosion and pitting with the strength which is double that of that 300 series of stainless steel.
For some applications, the grade SMO 254 is reported as an affordable alternative for titanium and high nickel alloys. This stainless steel is well-known for having excellent workability. If you want to know further details regarding this SMO 254 stainless steel, you can read its chemical and mechanical properties.
The stainless steel grade SMO 253 includes these chemical compositions such as
Here are the mechanical properties of SMO 254 as follows:
The 253 MA stainless is one of the lean austenitic temperature resistant alloys that include outstanding and high strength oxidation resistance. This alloy maintains its temperature-resistant features by an advanced control of the micro-alloy additions. Additionally, the use of some metals in mixture with silicon rings better oxidation resistance of 2000°F. Carbon, nitrogen and a scattering of alkali metal and rare earth oxides gather to give sneak rupture strength similar to some nickel base alloys. An extensive range of components need increased strength at the elevated heat like heat exchangers, stack dampers, over components, kilns are the common 253 MA applications.

The mechanical properties of 253 MP are given at room temperature:
The stainless steel duplex 2205 is used widely in applications which need excellent strength and corrosion resistance. The stainless steel grade S31803 has undergone many modifications resulting in the UNS S32205. It was also endorsed in 1996. It provides better resistance to corrosion. At heat range more than 300°C, all brittle micro-constituents of it undergo precipitation, as well as at temperatures less than -50°C every micro-constituent undergo the ductile-to-brittle transition;. Though, this stainless steel grade is not ideal for using at the mentioned temperatures.
These are the chemical composition percentages of grade duplex 2205 stainless steel.
The distinctive mechanical properties of this grade 2205 duplex stainless steel are listed below. The grade S31803 includes same mechanical properties to which of S32205.
The 310 grade is an average carbon austenitic stainless steel which is used for the high-temperature applications like heat treatment device and furnace parts. It is also used the heat level roughly about 1150°C in the continuous service, as well as 1035°C in the intermittent service. The Grade 310S is a very low carbon edition of the grade 310.
The following list comes with a chemical composition of SS310.
